EXCELLENT Based on 55 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Daydream37612455546Verified Archit explained beautifully making it a enthralling varanasi walk! Beautiful experience it was.Posted on Tripadvisor Connector56570864039Verified Varanasi up close with TTL My experience with TTL’s Varanasi Walks felt incredibly personal—like being gently held and guided through a city that reveals itself slowly, layer by layer. The first walk, which started from Chauk, was a beautiful immersion into the everyday soul of Varanasi. Starting at Chauk Thana, we wandered through the narrow lanes—pausing for heeng ki kachori at Neelu Kachori, moving through Kachauri Gali and the old silk lanes of Kunj Gali, and witnessing the quiet mastery of Thatheri Bazar. What I loved most were the hidden moments—an underground shivalinga, stories of Banarasi paan, and the stillness of Telang Swamy Math. Sherwalo ki Kothi, with its intricate architecture and silver Krishna temple, felt like stepping into another time. The second walk, was deeply moving. Walking through Kashi Karwat Temple, while learning about the Dome community, was intense but also strangely grounding. What stayed with me was how seamlessly the walk held both death and the sacred feminine—through places like Bandi Mata Temple, Bengali Tola’s Kali Temple, and the powerful stillness of Tara Baadi, where time almost feels suspended. After a quiet pause, the walk continued into equally meaningful spaces—the Shava-Shiva Kali Temple, where Shiva and Kali coexist within a single form, and Gauri Kedar, each carrying its own quiet energy. And then, the boat ride with Sagar… that felt like a gift. Watching the ghats from the river, listening to their stories, and seeing the city slowly awaken in the soft morning light was something I’ll carry with me for a long time. Over the course of the walks, we visited more than 50 temples tucked into the heart of Varanasi—each brought alive through stories, cultural context, and layers of history that I would have otherwise missed. What made this experience truly special was the care with which it was put together. Archit and Indraneel don’t just guide you—they share a part of themselves, shaped by years of living with and loving this city. It never felt like a tour; it felt like being let into something intimate and deeply meaningful. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful first experience of Varanasi.Posted on Tripadvisor MehalVerified A Beautiful Himalayan Experience with TTL Our Holi trip with TTL to Sangla Valley turned out to be one of the most memorable mountain experiences. Even though it was a sudden plan, everything was smoothly managed and very well coordinated by TTL, making the journey completely stress-free. The route through Shimla, Rampur Bushahr, Sangla, Rakchham, Chitkul, and Kalpa was breathtaking at every step. Every destination had its own beauty — peaceful valleys, clear rivers, snow-covered mountains, and roads that opened to stunning Himalayan views. Celebrating Holi in Sangla &,Kamru was especially special because it felt so safe, warm, and authentic. The hospitality of the local people, the food, and the peaceful atmosphere made the experience even more memorable. Being part of the celebrations in the mountains had a completely different charm from city festivities. One of the most joyful moments was in Chitkul, where we played in the snow-covered mountains and truly relived our childhood. From Kalpa, witnessing the majestic Kinnaur Kailash added another unforgettable layer to the trip. What made the experience stand out was the way TTL balanced comfort, planning, and local connection. It never felt like just a tourist trip — it felt like experiencing the region closely, without any rush or stress. Snow-clad mountains, crystal-clear rivers, lush greenery, and breathtaking views — all coming together in one place. But beyond the landscapes, it was the rich cultural heritage of the mountains that truly made the journey unforgettable. Experiencing Holi in the Himalayas with the locals was something magical. When the village devta comes out and people gather to dance in devotion and celebration, time almost pauses. The energy in that moment is so powerful that everything around you fades away — you just stand there, absorbing the spirit of the mountains and its people. I got to know about TTL through Instagram and wanted to explore Varanasi with someone who understood and knew the city. This was a 5 day walk and the best walk I’ve ever attended. Curated so beautifully and thoughtfully, Archit took us through little lanes and alleyways of Varanasi and showed us such beautiful temples of the divine goddess. For me, Varanasi always meant Shiva, but I was surprised to see Devi in her sacred element here. Archit made us taste all the local delicacies, shared lovely stories of Kashi from the Puranas and sacred texts and even took us to a bookshop, which we all loved. What I loved the most was that Archit was so patient with us and answered all our silly questions gracefully and made us feel very comfortable. He is a person who has deep esoteric knowledge and views the world from a very spiritual lens, which I really loved and appreciated about him. He had an answer to all my questions. This walk was very well curated and lead by him and i discovered such hidden gems of Kashi. Archit is one person who doesn’t withhold information. He will share his knowledge freely and it’s upto you to grasp that. I loved the walk so much that I also signed up for his Panchkroshi Yatra later on and loved that walk too. Would definitely recommend TTL walks to everyone and can’t wait to explore other cities and towns with TTL!Posted on Tripadvisor Neha CVerified An Exceptional, Unscripted Journey Through the Streets of Banaras I attended the 4-day 'Varanasi: Beyond Ghats & Aesthetics' experience with TTL in January 2026, and it was truly wonderful. This journey allowed me to understand Varanasi from a completely different perspective, far beyond the usual tourist checklist. Archit is just exceptional. He is someone with profound knowledge and a genuine, infectious passion for history. Instead of just sticking to the crowded spots, he took us to many fascinating, lesser-known hidden temples tucked away in the narrow lanes of the city. The absolute highlight of this experience was that the walks and baithaks weren't rigidly structured. The entire exploration felt incredibly organic and conversational. Because it flowed so naturally, there wasn't a single boring second—I was completely engaged the entire time. Archit was also wonderfully attentive to what we actually wanted to see. When I showed an interest in reading, he seamlessly wove in an impromptu visit to some local bookshops, and I ended up buying some fantastic books based entirely on his personal recommendations. Experiencing the stories, the food, and the culture of Banaras this way felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring an ancient city with a deeply knowledgeable friend. I highly recommend TTL to anyone wanting to see the real Banaras, and I am already looking forward to joining many more walks with them in the future!Posted on Tripadvisor RM PVerified Exploration within and beyond Overall great experience and learning..
